Watercolours
This month Design Insider’s material focus is paint. With that in mind, they wanted to speak to Clare Jenkinson, one of our talented carpet designers, about Ulster’s beautiful Watercolours collection.
Watercolour painting is known for its delicacy and subtlety because it uses thin washes and transparency. No matter how quick or slow you work, watercolour does not stay still or remain stable, it has a life of its own, with the colour coming and going, dying unpredictably as it evaporates.
In the Q&A Clare spoke to Design Insider about the Watercolours collection and shared her inspiration behind the carpet design.
