Paris is known across the world for its art and its architecture, and we took both as the inspiration for the stunning bespoke carpet that we created specifically for Equiphotel.
We set our Designer, Sarah Moffatt, the task of creating an eye-catching design for the show and she didn’t disappoint.
Taking ‘La Fee Electricite’ by Raoul Dufy for her colour inspiration, Sarah, who previously lived in Paris, used the city’s architecture to add a structure to the design. She incorporated the beautiful ceiling from her favourite museum into the design and we are asking visitors to the stand to guess which one so they can win a special prize!
Finally, Sarah turned to another one of our designers, Lois Norman, for the final flourish. Lois’ hand-painted butterflies were recoloured in the ‘La Fee Electricite’ style, with the butterflies adding an eye-catching element.
This beautifully bespoke carpet takes centre stage at our Equip Paris stand and is the perfect example of The Art of Ulster.
This concept is all about utilising the large canvas that flooring offers to create stunning statement designs that resonate with your guests. It also reflects how we combine the artistic flair of our designers with world-leading weaving technology to create flooring works of art.
