The Story

Ulster Carpets was commissioned by the award winning Four Seasons George V Hotel in Paris to recreate its original and elegant Haussmann style.

As poised and polished as the day it opened in 1928, this eight storey landmark building, revels in its unique vantage point. Its private terraces overlook the most romantic city in the world and it is merely steps from the Champs-Élysées, the Arc de Triomphe, the Châteaux de Chantilly and Notre Dame Cathedral.

Working with acclaimed designer Pierre-Yves Rochon, Ulster Carpets supplied a mix of premium wilton cut and loop and axminster carpets befitting of this palace. In the suites, wilton cut and loop carpets create a subtle yet luxurious impact to the stunning interior, while the axminster is a fusion of vibrant colours combined in a bold, regal pattern in Salon Chantilly.
