The Story

The Fairmont St Andrews is renowned for golf, luxury and its stunning coastal location. It was the latter which inspired the refurbishment by RPW Architects.

The highly anticipated refurbishment included a complete redesign of the atrium and Kittock’s Bar featuring bespoke Ulster axminster carpets. The floor covering in Kittock’s Bar was inspired by the breathtaking aerial views of the dramatic coastline, while the atrium carpet drew inspiration from the town’s fishing heritage. Nautical blues and soft neutral tones mimic the movement of the sea, while a net overlay completes the theme.
