As part of the £1.3 billion transformation of Olympia into one of Europe's most ambitious cultural and business destinations, the new Hyatt Regency London Olympia blends the building's rich Art Deco heritage with contemporary hospitality. Designed by twenty2degrees Design Partnership, the 204-room hotel offers a refined guest experience rooted in its historic surroundings.

Working closely with the design team, Ulster Carpets created bespoke woven Axminster carpets throughout the hotel, establishing a cohesive design language that flows seamlessly from the public spaces and meeting rooms to the guestrooms. Inspired by the rhythm and geometry of the building's original architecture, the carpet designs reinterpret Art Deco detailing through subtle pattern, texture and layered colour.

The versatility of woven Axminster allowed each space to develop its own distinct character while maintaining continuity across the guest journey. From the vibrant public areas to the calm, understated guestrooms, the carpets play an integral role in creating a sophisticated and immersive hospitality experience.
