Keep cool with wool

Did you know? Wool insulates against both hot and cold temperatures while also improving the air quality in your home.

As a great natural insulator, wool can save an average of 11% on domestic energy consumption. This is important in colder weather, as wool keeps you warm in the winter by retaining heat trapped in its fibres; however wool can also help to keep you cool by reducing the amount of heat entering through the floor.

Not only does wool insulate against hot and cold temperatures, but it is also a fantastic noise barrier, creating a relaxing and peaceful atmosphere for your home.

Improves Indoor Air Quality / Anti-allergy:

For those with allergies, research backs up the ability of wool rich carpets to reduce airborne dust in the home by trapping it in its top layer. Wool carpets are unsuited to dust mites and don’t promote the growth of bacteria while wool also naturally absorbs humidity and airborne toxins to produce a cleaner, more comfortable living environment for the whole family.
