1.2 Ulster Carpets (Holdings) Limited are committed to protecting and respecting
your privacy.
1.3 This policy applies where we are acting as a data controller with respect to the
personal data of you.

2.1 We may collect and process the following Data about you:
2.1.1 Information that you provide by filling in forms either in paper or on our website
[www.ulstercarpets.com and designportal.ulstercarpets.com]. This includes information
provided at the time of registering to use our site, subscribing to our service,
posting material or requesting further services. We may also ask you for information
when you report a problem with our site.
2.1.2 If you contact us, we may keep a record of that correspondence.
2.1.3 We may also ask you to complete surveys that we use for research purposes,
although you do not have to respond to them.
2.1.4 Details of transactions you carry out through our website.
2.1.5 Details of your visits to our website including, but not limited to, traffic data,
location data, weblogs and other communication data, as explained in our Cookies
policy.
2.1.6 Details of personal information you provide to us either in paper or any other
form, for the fulfilment of a mutual contract between us.

3. Uses Made Of The Information

3.1 We use information held about you for our legitimate business interests and
where relevant any contractual obligations we have with you. We use your Data to:

4.1 With the exception of 4.2 we do not sell, share or disclose the Data we have

which means our subsidiaries, our ultimate holding company and its subsidiaries, as
defined in article 4 of the Companies (Northern Ireland) Order 1986.

disclose your personal data to the prospective buyer of such business or assets.
4.2.2 If Ulster Carpets (Holdings) Limited or substantially all of its assets are acquired
by a third party, in which case personal data held by it about its customers will
be one of the transferred assets.

with any legal obligation, or in order to enforce or apply our terms of use and other
agreements; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Ulster Carpets (Holdings)

4.2.4 Who provide a service to us, such as our Internet Service Provider. Any such
providers are bound by confidentiality provisions and we have endeavered to ensure
any such providers are GDPR compliant.

5 Security and Where We Store Your Personal Data

5.1 We are committed to protecting the security of your Data. We use a variety of
security technologies and procedures in order to do this. As effective as modern security
practices are, no physical or electronic security system is entirely secure. We
will continue to update policies and implement additional security features as new
technologies become available.
5.2 Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password which enables
you to access certain parts of our website, you are responsible for keeping this

may be engaged in, among other things, the fulfilment of you order and the provision

and we do not accept any responsibility or liability for those policies. We suggest

7.1 You may request access to, rectification, erasure or restriction of your Data, or
object to the processing of your Data or Data portability at any time. We will respond
to your request in writing, as soon as practicable and in any event within one month
of receipt of your request. We may request proof of identification to verify your request.
